NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Vanderbilt women’s basketball team continues preparation for the 2009-10 season with its second and final exhibition game when Division II Drury visits Memorial Gymnasium on Saturday, Nov. 7. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. CT.
The Commodores defeated NAIA national champion Union University last weekend, 69-48, behind 15 points from junior guard Jence Rhoads and freshman Tiffany Clarke.
Tickets for Saturday’s game will be available on site for $5. Season tickets to the Commodores’ entire 16-game schedule are available starting at $30 and can be purchased online (vucommodores.com), by phone (615-322-GOLD) or in person at the McGugin Center ticket office during regular business hours.
Head Coach Melanie Balcomb’s squad opens the regular season next Sunday, Nov. 15, by playing host to Lehigh at 2 p.m. CT.
