NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A discounted $35 single-game ticket will be the sold to this Saturday’s Vanderbilt-Mississippi State football game with the donation of a can of food, Vanderbilt Athletics officials announced.
Vanderbilt is teaming with the Southeastern Conference and its annual canned food drive – Together We Can. The promotion reduces tickets to the Mississippi State game $15 from the listed SEC game price of $50. To participate in the promotion, buyers must purchase tickets at the Vanderbilt Athletic Ticket Office in McGugin Center, located at 2601 Jess Neely Drive, Nashville. A can of food for each ticket purchased is required to enjoy the promotional price. The reduced ticket offer will valid from Sept. 1 through Friday, Sept. 18. Tickets purchased on gameday will be available only at the regular price.
Vanderbilt’s SEC home schedule includes Mississippi State (Sept. 18), Ole Miss (Oct. 3), Georgia (Oct. 17) and Kentucky (Nov. 14). Single-game tickets for these games are available online at the official website, www.vucommodores.com, or by phone at (615) 322-GOLD. Ticket office officials strongly urge customers purchasing Ole Miss, Georgia and Kentucky tickets to do so from the official website.
Season tickets starting at $109 remain available via the website, phone or Ticket Office for the entire 2009 Vanderbilt home schedule.
