The Tennessee Sports Writers Association has again honored Bill Traughber, author of the popular Commodore History Corner on vucommodores.com.
Traughber has been named the association’s Division III best feature writer for his work with Vanderbilt Athletics. He was also honored for his collection of articles for the Nashville Sounds baseball club.
The TSWA said of Traughber’s Commodore history: “he has unlimited space and makes the most of it”. The Brentwood, Tenn., resident has been honored numerous times by the TSWA.
“Our Commodore History Corner is one of the most popular stops on our official site,” says Rod Williamson, Director of Athletic External Relations. “Bill has an eye for a good story and he loves to research.
