NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt’s two-member signing class of Ryan Lipman and Sam Wells received praise on Monday when tennisrecruiting.net ranked the duo No. 7 on its annual list of national recruiting rankings.
The ranking is the highest of any SEC school and Vanderbilt is one of just three schools in the top 10 with just two signees.
Lipman, a Nashville, product, is ranked No. 5 in the nation and No. 1 in the Southeast by tennisrecruiting.net.
A native of Boca Raton, Fla., Wells is ranked No. 95 in the nation and No. 19 in Florida by tennisrecruiting.net.
Stanford’s class was ranked No. 1 followed by Virginia, Texas, Yale and Michigan.
