In an effort to thank all of our 2009 season ticket holders, we would like to extend the opportunity for any season ticket holder to come down to the OUTFIELD of Hawkins Field and play catch for approximately 30 minutes following the Vanderbilt baseball game against Tennessee on Saturday, May 16.
Directions: All season ticket holders who wish to participate should enter the field at the right field “service” gates in Lot 71 (parking lot behind the outfield). Please wait until the conclusion of the game and then make your way to right field. Once you arrive, you MUST check in with a marketing representative. Please be prepared to give your name so we can confirm that you are a season ticket holder; you will then be able to proceed onto the field. In an effort to keep an extensive line from building, we will have several marketing representatives down in the check-in area. We will allow you to bring out as many people as you have season tickets onto the field to play catch (e.g. if you own four season tickets you can have a total of four people in your party to play catch). Vanderbilt Athletics will provide the baseballs to play catch, but season ticket holders must provide their own gloves.
Coach Corbin and members of the team will be on hand after the game to sign autographs. We look forward to having all season ticket holders come out on May 16, and we hope to see you all after the game and wish you a sincere thank you for supporting Vanderbilt Baseball this season.
