The Commodores will begin play at the three-day, 54-hole event on Friday, April 17, at 8:50 p.m. ET. Vanderbilt will leave from the 10th tee with Georgia and South Carolina.

Seniors Jon Curran and Tyler Matthews will both play in the SEC Championship for the fourth time in their careers. Head Coach Tom Shaw has also selected junior Hudson Johnson and sophomores Ryan Haselden and Adam Hofmann to compete in this weekend’s event. Haselden won the Seminole Intercollegiate in March, while Hofmann finished as the runner-up at the Reunion Intercollegiate earlier this month.

The Tom Fazio-designed course at Frederica features a unique layout with dramatic elevation changes, and will play 7,217 yards at par-72 this weekend. This is the second year that the tournament has been played at the Frederica Golf Club. The SEC Golf Tournament has been played at Sea Island since 2001, with six different league teams capturing championships in that period.
