DURHAM, N.H. — The No. 10 Commodore women’s lacrosse team travels to face No. 18 New Hampshire on Wednesday, April 8, at Memorial Field.

The opening draw is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET.

Live scoring will be available on UNH’s official website.

Vanderbilt (7-3, 2-1 American Lacrosse Conference) has won its last five games, including a trio of double-digit home victories. New Hampshire (8-5, 2-2 America East) is looking for its first victory over a ranked opponent this season.

Attacker Sarah Downing continues to lead the Commodore offense. The Morristown, N.J., native scored six points on Saturday against Johns Hopkins to reach 50 points for the second straight season. The junior already ranks among VU’s all-time Top 10 in career goals (82) and points (120).

A pair of Commodore freshmen are being honored this week for their recent stellar play. Midfielder Ally Carey was named the ALC Rookie of the Week after scoring a combined nine points against Delaware and Johns Hopkins.

Freshman goalkeeper Natalie Wills earned ALC Defensive Player of the Week honors after making 12 saves each in VU’s two victories. It was the second weekly honor for Wills, who was named the league’s Rookie of the Week on March 24.

Vanderbilt plays three of its final four regular season games on the road. Following Wednesday’s game, the Commodores will travel to face conference rival Ohio State on Sunday, April 12, at 12 Noon ET.
