STATESBORO, Ga. — The Vanderbilt men’s golf team will travel for the third consecutive weekend, taking part in the Schenkel E-Z-Go Invitational this Friday through Sunday at the Forest Heights Country Club.
The three-day, 54-hole event is hosted by Georgia Southern on Forest Heights’ par-72, 6,962-yard layout. A total of 18 schools will participate in the tournament, including eight teams from the Southeastern Conference.
VU Head Coach Tom Shaw has selected seniors Jon Curran and Tyler Matthews, sophomores Ryan Haselden and Adam Hofmann, and freshman Trey DelGreco to compete in this weekend’s event.
The Commodores will start play at 9:45 a.m. ET, leaving from the first tee with Oklahoma and Iowa. This marks Vanderbilt’s first appearance at the event, which features 11 of the nation’s Top 50 teams.
