NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The women’s basketball team looks to remain undefeated against SEC West teams when the Commodores host Arkansas (12-8, 1-4) at 8 p.m. Thursday in Memorial Gym. The ‘Dores (15-5, 4-1) look to improve to 11-1 overall and 3-0 in conference play at home this season.
Melanie Balcomb’s, VU head coach, squad returns to Memorial after a two-game road trip at Georgia and South Carolina. Vanderbilt split both decisions, falling to UGA 66-55 but downing USC 66-56.
The Commodores have also recorded victories at Alabama (Jan. 8, W 85-76) and against LSU (Jan. 18, W 75-67) this season.
