– Vanderbilt started junior Jermaine Beal, sophomore A.J. Ogilvy, and freshmen Jeffery Taylor, Steve Tchiengang and Brad Tinsley. This marks the fifth time that Vanderbilt has used this starting line-up. Vanderbilt is 4-1 when starting with this line-up.
– Beal leads the team with 54 career starts, including 49 straight. Ogilvy made his 17th start of the season and 50th of his career. Taylor made his 19th start of his career while Tinsley made his 16th consecutive start and 16th of his career.

– With Steve Tchiengang’s three-pointer at the 19:13 mark in the first half, Vanderbilt extended its streak of consecutive games (717) with a three-pointer, dating back to when the three-point line was established in the 1986-87 season. The Commodores streak ranks second only to UNLV (725) for the longest streak in Division I basketball. Vanderbilt, UNLV and Princeton (611) are the only three schools in college basketball to accomplish this feat.
– With the game tied 7-7, Vanderbilt went on a 6-0 run to take 13-7 lead with 13:40 remaining in the half. Following the Vanderbilt run, Florida responded with a 21-6 run of their own, taking a 28-19 lead with 9:26 remaining in the first-half. The Gators hit five three-pointers during the run, including three-straight by Chandler Parsons.
– Vanderbilt gave up a season-high 56 first-half points to Florida, (Illinois. The most points Vanderbilt had given up in the first half before today was 36 to Illinois back on Nov. 20, 2008.
– Vanderbilt was 13-27 (48.1%) from the field in the first-half while Florida was 20-36 (55.6%). The 55.6% shooting is the highest percentage an opponent has shot against Vanderbilt this season.
– Vanderbilt made 4-of-7 three-pointers in the first-half while Florida was 12-18 (66.7%) from downtown. The 12 first-half made three-pointers by Florida ties for the most made three pointers against VU this season, (UIC, 12 3PT, 12/3/2008). – With the loss Vanderbilt falls to (12-7, 1-4 SEC) while Florida improves to (17-3, 4-1 SEC)
– With the loss Vanderbilt now leads the all-time series with Florida 61-55. The Commodores are now 39-13 against the Gators in Nashville.
– Only one other opponent has scored more than 94 points against Vanderbilt (in Stallings era) at Memorial Gym. The most points previously scored versus a Stallings’ team in Memorial Gym was 95 points by Florida on January 12, 2002.
– The 25-point loss to Florida was the worst against the Gators since the UF topped Vanderbilt 80-54 in Gainesville, during the 2001-02 season.

– Florida finished the game 35-61 (57.4%) from the field while Vanderbilt was 26-60 (43.3%). Florida’s 57.4 percent FG percentage is the highest an opponent has had against Vanderbilt this season, (Tennessee .500, 1/20/09). VU’s last two SEC opponents (Tennessee and Florida) have shot at least 50% from the field against the Commodores.
– Florida made a season-high 15 three-pointers against the Commodores, finishing the game 15-of-25 (60.0%). The 15 three-pointers is the most an opponent has recorded against Vanderbilt this season, (UIC, 12). Florida set opponent game-highs in assists (19), made three-pointers (15), FG made (35), (FG %, .574) (3PT %, .600) (3PT attempts, 25) and points, 94. Prior to Sunday, Tennessee had scored the most points by an opponent against Vanderbilt this season with 76.
