Nashville radio’s popular 104.5 “The Zone” featuring George Plaster comes to Vanderbilt Athletics Tuesday afternoon to help promote the Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl.
Plaster and co-hosts Willy Daunic and Darren McFarland will broadcast live from the pressbox at Hawkins Field, adjacent to McGugin Center and Vanderbilt Stadium.
Special interview guests during the 3:00-4:00 p.m. hour will include Vanderbilt Chancellor Nicholas Zeppos, Vice Chancellor David Williams and Southeastern Conference Commissioner Mike Slive.
Williams is expected to make a major community announcement during his interview, which will begin at approximately 3:15 p.m.
The five o’clock hour will also be dominated by Vanderbilt bowl conversation, led by Denver Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler and Commodore head coach Bobby Johnson.
