ATHENS, Ga. — The Georgia Bulldogs held off a the Commodores 24-14 on homecoming today in Athens. Makenzi Adams, who replaced Chris Nickson at quarterback this week, completed 15-of-30 passes for 123 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions for VU (5-2, 3-2 SEC) today.
Jamie Graham led all VU receivers with four catches for 36 yards and two receiving touchdowns. Jared Hawkins led the Commodores’ rushing attack with 63 yards on 12 carries.
