U.S. Amateur final results

Vanderbilt women’s golfers Megan Grehan and Amber Lundskog completed stroke play Tuesday at the U.S. Women’s Amateur in Eugene, Ore., with Grehan missing the match play cut by only one stroke. Grehan fired a two-day total of 153 (77-76), which tied for 69th place, while Lundskog ended the tournament in a tie for 134th with a score of 163 (86-77).

Grehan, a rising sophomore, shot a 76 in the final round and ended with a 153, one stroke behind the match-play cut, which came at 152. The top 64 players at the tournament advanced to match-play competition.

Grehan and Lundskog, a senior, will compete for the Commodores this upcoming season, which begins with Vanderbilt’s own Mason Rudolph Women’s Championship on Sept. 26-28 at the Vanderbilt Legends Club.
