Officials of Vanderbilt Athletics will conduct a press conference Tuesday, May 20, at 9 a.m. CT to detail the recently adopted Athletic Facility Project that promises to have wide-ranging benefits for Commodore student-athletes and fans.
The multi-million dollar project proposes facility improvements for the Commodore football, men’s and women’s basketball, and baseball programs, as well as thorough renovations and enhancements to the McGugin Center. Construction of the Vanderbilt Athletics Hall of Fame adjoining McGugin Center also is included.
The first of five construction phases is currently under way, with crews working at Vanderbilt Stadium, Memorial Gymnasium and the John Rich Practice Facility.
