The Nashville Sports Council will host the Comcast Spotlight First Pitch Luncheon on April 15 at the Wildhorse Saloon in downtown Nashville. The event is part of the Sports Council’s Comcast Spotlight Sports Speaker Series. Special guests will include the 2008 Nashville Sounds, Vanderbilt head baseball coach Tim Corbin, and former Nashville Banner baseball beat writer and current ESPN baseball analyst Buster Olney.
“We are excited to have the Sounds and Coach Corbin participate in the event,” said Lisa Dean, General Manager of Comcast Spotlight Nashville. “We look forward to hearing from them and also welcoming Buster Olney back to Nashville.”
The 2008 Sounds squad will be introduced and will be seated throughout the audience for lunch. Coach Corbin and Buster Olney will hold a forum on the current state of baseball and be available for a Q&A session with those in attendance. Non-Sports Council Members can attend for $25, which includes admission and lunch.
