NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The 10th-ranked Commodore women’s lacrosse team plays host to New Hampshire on Saturday at the Vanderbilt Lacrosse Complex. The game is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. CT.
Vanderbilt (5-2) is looking to rebound from a pair of losses. In the mid-week, the Commodores fell to No. 18 Boston University, 17-7, despite hat-tricks by senior Margie Curran and junior Cara Giordano.
Curran, an All-American, leads the Commodores with 30 points on 21 goals and nine assists. Sophomores Sarah Downing and Carter Foote are also among VU’s leader in scoring.
New Hampshire (4-2) rides a three-game winning streak into Nashville. The Wildcats defeated 10th-ranked Yale 10 days ago before also beating Connecticut and Harvard in the past week. Junior Ashley Durepo leads New Hampshire in scoring this season.
Saturday’s game is the second in a four-game homestand for the Commodores. Vanderbilt will welcome Cornell (March 17) and Penn State (March 23) to Nashville in the coming week.
