NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The 12th-ranked Commodore women’s lacrosse team plays host to Duquesne on Saturday, March 1, at 1 p.m. CT at the Vanderbilt Lacrosse Complex.
Vanderbilt (3-0) opened the 2008 season with a trio of impressive victories. The Commodores defeated Cincinnati, UMBC and Lehigh by an average of more than 11 goals.
Senior Margie Curran is the reigning American Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week. She has contributed 19 points to Vanderbilt’s first three victories. Curran was joined on the 2008 Tewaaraton Watch List by fellow senior Sasha Cielak.
Duquesne has had a rough start to the 2008 season. The Dukes are 0-4, with road losses coming against Notre Dame, Ohio State, Stony Brook and Denver.
Following Saturday’s game, the Commodores will remain at home to play host to Virginia Tech on Tuesday, March 4, at 1 p.m. CT.
