NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt placed a league-high-tying 22 student-athletes on the sixth-annual American Lacrosse Conference Academic Honor Roll, as announced Monday by conference commissioner Peggy Pruitt.
The Honor Roll lauds student-athletes who maintained a GPA of 3.0 or better during the 2006-07 academic year. Of the 87 names on this year’s list, Vanderbilt and Northwestern paced the league with 22 selections each.
The Commodores open the 2008 season in less than a month when Cincinnati visits the VU Lacrosse Complex on Sunday, Feb. 17. The opening draw is scheduled for 1 p.m. CT.
