Team Records and Series Notes:
– Vanderbilt falls to 16-1 and 1-1 in Southeastern Conference play on the season, while Kentucky improves to 7-7 and 1-0 in conference play.
– Kentucky leads the all-time series 129-40 overall and 75-14 in games played in Lexington. Vanderbilt has won four of the last five games played between the two teams.
– The Commodores are now 2-1 in overtime games this season and 56-49 in overtime games all-time. Vanderbilt is now 11-5 in double overtime contests. This was Vanderbilt’s first loss in an overtime game since December 21, 2006, when the Commodores fell 87-79 to Appalachian State.
– Vanderbilt continues its two-game road swing on Thursday as it travels to Knoxville, Tenn., for an early SEC East showdown with the Tennessee Volunteers. Tip off from Thompson-Boling Arena is set for 6 p.m. (CST) and the game will be carried live on ESPN (television) and the Vanderbilt/ISP Sports Network with Joe Fisher (play-by-play) and Tim Thompson (analyst).

Vanderbilt Team Notes:
– Key Run: Traililng 73-72 in the second overtime, Kentucky scored the final seven points of the game. A layup by Joe Crawford with 3:33 to play put Kentucky up to stay. Vanderbilt did not score a field goal in the second overtime period.
– Key Stat: Vanderbilt was outrebounded 45-23, including being outrebounded 17-4 on offensive rebounds. Kentucky won the second-chance points category 18-2.
– After shooting 8-of-19 (42.1 percent) from the floor in the first half, the Commodores heated up in the second half, making 14-of-25 (56.0 percent) from the floor and 6-of-11 (54.5 percent) from beyond the arc.
– Vanderbilt won the bench points category 17-6.
– The Commodores have knocked down a three in 680 consecutive games, the second-longest streak in the nation.
– Vanderbilt has made eight or more threes in 13 games this season.
– The Commodores forced 23 turnovers, one off their season high.

Vanderbilt Individual Notes:
– Senior swingman Shan Foster scored a team-high 20 points, his 11th 20-point game of the season. Foster has scored in double-figures in 21 consecutive games. Foster made four threes in today’s game to bring his career total to 302. Foster also played a career-high 47 minutes.
– Freshman center Andrew Ogilvy scored 16 points. Ogilvy has scored in double-figures every game this season. Ogilvy also added five blocks, the most by a Commodore since Julian Terrell swatted five shots against UNC-Greensboro on November 22, 2005.
– Senior guard Alex Gordon scored 12 points, his 11th double-figure game of the season. Gordon also grabbed three rebounds and dished out four assists.
– Freshman forward Darshawn McClellan scored a career-high 10 points in 22 minutes. McClellan also had a career-high three assists.
– Sophomore guard Jermaine Beal led the team with six assists. Beal has had five or more assists in four of the last five games.
