HACKENSACK, N.J. — Vanderbilt’s bowlers have been rated second in the latest poll conducted by the National Tenpins Coaches Association.
The Commodores (33-9) had been ranked No. 1 throughout the fall but lost to Nebraska (29-7) by 63 pins in last November’s Capital City Classic to slip behind the Huskers. Nebraska notched 12 first place votes and Vanderbilt the other seven from the 19 participating coaches.
Vanderbilt resumes its season schedule January 18 at the Greater Ozark Invitational in Springfield, Mo.
