John Russell, one of our sports photographers at Vanderbilt, served as an Associated Press photographer for the NAIA Football Championship between the University of Sioux Falls (S.D.) and Carroll College (Mont.) last Saturday in Savannah, Tenn. Little did he know that this event would produce something special for him: a cover photo for Sports Illustrated.
