BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Vanderbilt junior Amber Lundskog advanced to the final round of the first flight at the 92nd annual Women’s Southern Golf Association Amateur Championship with a 2 and 1 match play victory over Lea Green of the Tannehill National Golf Club Thursday at Riverchase Country Club.
Lundskog will play Dawn Woodward of the Old Natchez Country Club in Franklin for the championship on Friday at 8:05 a.m. CT.
Fellow Commodore junior Jacqui Concolino lost to 2007 NCAA Championship medalist and 2006 WSGA Southern Amateur finalist Stacy Lewis of Arkansas 2 and 1 in the quarterfinals of the championship flight Thursday.
