NORMAN, Okla. — Vanderbilt senior Luke List and sophomore Jon Curran were named to the 2007 Ping All-Southeast Region team, announced Wednesday by the Golf Coaches Association of America.

The PING All-Region teams consist of the top 15 individuals in their region in the Individual Ranking System. Additionally, any player ranked nationally in the top 75 according to the Golfstat or the Sagarin rankings not included their region’s top 15 are added to their All-Region team.

List and Curran are currently leading their team in the 2007 NCAA Championships at the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club in Williamsburg, Virginia. The tournament marks the first time since 2004 that the Commodores have advanced to the preeminent event in collegiate golf.

List, currently ranked No. 32 in the nation according to the Golfweek/Sagarin performance index, has posted seven Top-10 finishes this season and leads the Commodores in scoring average. List has been recognized as an All-American for three straight seasons.

Curran matched List’s total of seven Top-10 finishes by placing ninth and second at the SEC Championship and NCAA West Regional, respectively. He is ranked No. 71 by Golfweek/Sagarin.

Members of the PING All-Region teams are automatically eligible for PING All-America honors, to be announced following the NCAA Division I Championships.
