ATHENS, Ga. — The Vanderbilt women’s tennis duo of senior Amanda Fish and junior Amanda Taylor cruised into the quarterfinals of the 2007 NCAA Doubles Championship with a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Maria Anisimova and Kate Kosminskaya of Penn.
The Commodore pairing will now take on the top-ranked team of Megan Moulton-Levy and Katarina Zoricic from William & Mary on Saturday at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.
The event semifinals are scheduled for Sunday, with the championship match to follow on Memorial Day, Monday, May 28.
