Vanderbilt and LSU will play the second game of the three game series Friday night at 7 p.m. CT at Hawkins Field. The game will be televised by CSS.
Freshman southpaw Mike Minor (7-1, 3.24 ERA) will go for Vandy on the mound, while LSU will counter with sophomore lefthander Ryan Byrd (6-1, 4.57 ERA).
In Thursday night’s opener, the Commodores defeated LSU 4-1 to claim its first ever Southeastern Conference regular season championship in front of 2,685 fans (Click for recap).
The series will conclude Saturday at Noon, with senior day ceremonies scheduled for pre-game at approximately 11:40 a.m.
