NASHVILLE — Vanderbilt’s midweek home game against Middle Tennessee, scheduled for May 8th, has been cancelled.
The game was an extra game on the Commodores schedule in case of a rain out during the season. Vanderbilt is expected to reach its 56-game regular season maximum, so the contest has been mutually cancelled.
The Commodores have nine games remaining in the regular season with back-to-back road series against Georgia and Auburn, followed by the regular season finale against LSU the weekend of May 17-19.
