NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Vanderbilt women’s tennis team will host cross-town rival Middle Tennessee State Friday afternoon at the Currey Tennis Center.
Both the No. 25 Commodores (2-5) and the Blue Raiders (2-3) will be looking to snap a losing streak at the 2:30 contest. The match will be the first for the Commodores since their 3-match loss at the ITA Tournament in Wisconsin, while MTSU recently dropped close contests to Ole Miss and Louisville.
When the two teams met last season on Valentine’s Day, Vanderbilt defeated the Blue Raiders 6-1 at the Currey Tennis Center. The Commodores are 3-0 in the competitors last three meetings.
