Vanderbilt plays host to local foe Lipscomb Thursday. Tip off is set for 8 p.m. CT. The game will be televised by CSS.

The Commodores (3-3) will look to move to 3-0 in the month of December after recording an impressive 104-62 victory over East Tennessee State. Shan Foster posted his first career double-double with 29 points and a career-high 10 rebounds. Foster netted a career-high seven 3-pointers, including six in the first half. Ross Neltner reached double figures for the fourth consecutive contest with 15 points as well as five rebounds, five assists and three steals. Derrick Byars contributed 14 points on 6-of-11 shooting from the field.

The lopsided victory marked the Commodores’ most points scored and largest margin of victory during the eight-year tenure of Vanderbilt head coach Kevin Stallings.

Lipscomb (6-2) has not played since a 68-54 home win over conference foe North Florida on Saturday. Trey Williams tallied 27 points and eight 3-pointers against the Ospreys. The Bisons won the Atlantic Sun Conference regular season crown a year ago en route to a 21-11 overall mark and trip to the postseason NIT.

Vanderbilt and Lipscomb have not played since an 88-61 Commodore win on Jan. 24, 1955. Vanderbilt leads the overall series 19-4.
