Vanderbilt welcomes Toledo to Memorial Gymnasium Saturday for a 7 p.m. tip-off.

The Commodores (1-3) look to rebound from a 70-62 setback to Furman on Tuesday. Ross Neltner led Vanderbilt in scoring for the second consecutive game with 12 points on 6-of-6 shooting from the field. Dan Cage added 11 and JeJuan Brown posted 10.

Five Commodores are averaging 10 or more points this season led by Derrick Byars’ 12.3 points. Byars and Neltner are tied for the team lead in rebounds with 5.8 apiece.

Toledo (2-3) suffered a 57-52 loss at Drexel on Wednesday. The Rockets were picked to win the Western Division of the Mid-American Conference in the preseason. Keonta Howell and Justin Ingram are averaging 17.4 points each for the Rockets.

Vanderbilt owns a 2-0 advantage in the all-time series with Toledo, including a 73-57 victory to open the 2004-05 campaign.

Saturday’s game is the first of four at Memorial Gymnasium over the next seven days. The Commodores play host to East Tennessee State on Tuesday (8 p.m.), Lipscomb on Thursday (8 p.m.) and Georgia Tech on Dec. 9 (4 p.m.).
