Promotional Schedule | Season Tickets Start at $25 | Pink Out Dec. 3rd
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Vanderbilt women’s basketball team released its 2006-07 promotional schedule Monday. This season features a number of fun programs and activities, including five promotional giveaways and four free basketball clinics.
A “Pink Out” during Vanderbilt’s Dec. 3 contest with Clemson highlights the promotional schedule. This game has been designated to promote breast cancer awareness, and a portion of all proceeds will go towards Breast Cancer research. Fans attending the game are encouraged to wear pink, and pink rally towels will be given away.
Vanderbilt faculty and staff members who will be in Nashville over the holidays are invited to attend the Vanderbilt Holiday Classic, Dec. 20-21. Admission is free with a valid Vanderbilt or VUMC ID.
All Sunday SEC contests will feature “Free Stuff Sunday,” where the first 1,000 fans will receive a fun VU promotional item to use at the games. Sunday SEC match-ups will also feature a free basketball clinic presented by the Vanderbilt women’s basketball team following the game.
Vanderbilt’s annual “Jam the Gym” promotion also returns this season for the January 14 contest against the Florida Gators. Tickets are only $1. Non-profit organizations in the Nashville area have the opportunity to receive FREE tickets to this game.
