NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt’s Nov. 18 women’s basketball contest against Dartmouth has been scheduled for a 4 p.m. CT tip-off, university officials announced Monday.
Officials had been waiting to hear if Vanderbilt’s football game versus Tennessee, originally slated for 1 p.m. that day, would move due to television. Lincoln Financial Sports has opted to televise that game, which will now begin at 11:30 a.m. CT.
Doors at Memorial Gymnasium will open at 3 p.m., and all fans that show a ticket from the day’s football game will receive one free admission to the women’s basketball game.
The Dartmouth contest is Vanderbilt’s first official home game of the 2006-07 season. The Commodores held two exhibition contests at Memorial Gym before opening the regular season on the road at Colorado (Nov. 12) and Western Kentucky (Nov. 16).
