We overcame some adversities today and won the game. You have got to battle back from mistakes and we did that today. We have got to get back to Nashville and prepare for South Carolina next week, but we will enjoy this win today. Georgia is a top-15 team and to win at their homecoming is big for us and for the program.” “I was a little nervous but not too much. In my mind it was just another field goal, the time on the clock doesn’t matter too much because a kick is a kick. I worked hard this week, going out and trusting my leg in practice and I came out today and did that.” Quarterback Chris Nickson: “Today’s game was a huge win for us. Any time you do something like this it makes a statement, whether you want to or not. We have to continue to play Vanderbilt football and good things will happen to us.” “We just wanted to move the football. If we didn’t score a touchdown we wanted to give Bryant a good chance of making the field goal. I have seen him make that kick in practice a lot and I knew he could make it.
