Vanderbilt-South Carolina on Pay-per-View
10/12/2006
Officials at Vanderbilt and South Carolina have announced plans to telecast their October 21 football game in the states of Tennessee and South Carolina by pay-per-view. There is no network television of the game.
The game will serve as homecoming for the Commodores and feature kickoff at 2:00 p.m. (CT). A year ago, South Carolina scored a late touchdown to prevail over Vanderbilt 35-28 in Columbia. “We are pleased to be able to offer this game to college football fans throughout South Carolina and in the three major Tennessee markets,” says Stacy Hall, General Manager of Vanderbilt’s multi-media rights holder, International Sports Properties (ISP). “Both Vanderbilt and South Carolina work with ISP, which made the difference in making this possible.” Price for the game is $19.95 in advance of game day and $24.95 if ordered on game day. Fans in the Memphis area should call 901-259-2225; Nashville area residents should call 615-244-5900 and in Knoxville, call 1-888-COMCAST. For other markets, contact your local cable operator. Mike Morgan will provide the play-by-play description while Pat Sperduto, head coach of the Arena Football League’s Nashville Kats, will handle color commentary.
