GCAA Announces Division I Honors
NORMAN, Okla. — Vanderbilt junior Luke List was named an honorable-mention selection to the PING All-America list, announced Thursday by the Golf Coaches Association of America. List joins 51 other Division I student-athletes as PING All-Americans for the 2005-06 season.
List led the Commodores throughout the year, posting five Top 10 finishes in team tournaments and earning medalist honors on three occasions. List finished the season ranked No. 34 in the Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index. He competed in the NCAA Regional Championship for the third consecutive season.
The Ringgold, Ga., native earned a similar honor following his sophomore season. In 2004, List became Vanderbilt’s first freshman All-American, earning third-team honors.
