Come See the Baseball Team Off to Atlanta! 5/30/2006 The Vanderbilt Baseball team will be departing to Atlanta, Ga. for the 2006 NCAA Regional Tournament this Wednesday, May 31 at 3:30 p.m. at the player entrance (north side) of Memorial Gymnasium. Please join us at 3:30 Wednesday as we send our players down the Road to Omaha! Vanderbilt (36-25) is the No. 2 seed and will face a <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = “urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags” />Michigan (42-19) team that won the Big 10 regular season and tournament championships on Friday at 2 p.m. CT. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = “urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office” />
Georgia Tech (45-16) is the No. 1 seed and host institution. They will face No. 4 seed Stetson (38-22) on Friday night at 6 p.m. CT.
