ORLANDO, Fla. — Vanderbilt junior Luke List carded a five-over-par 77 on Friday to move up nine spots into a tie for 90th place after the second round of the NCAA East Regional at the Lake Nona Golf Club.

First-round leader Georgia shot a six-over-par 294 on Friday and holds a two-shot lead after 36 holes of play at the NCAA East Regional at the Lake Nona Golf & Country Club. Georgia has a two-round total of 2-over-par 578 and is followed by UNLV at 580. Wake Forest stands in third with a two-round total of 581.

The teams played in extremely windy conditions in the afternoon and no squads broke par on Friday. Nine individuals registered subpar rounds.

Senior Taylor Wood of Southern California shot a 3-under-par 69 and leads the individual race. Wood carded a 2-under-par 70 on Thursday for a 5-under-par tournament total of 139. A pair of players —  senior Jonathan Jackson of North Carolina and UNLV sophomore Jarred Texter —  are tied for second at 140. Jackson, who led after the first round, carded a 2-over-par 74 on Friday.

The top-10 squads in the 27-team field, plus two individuals not on those teams, advance to the NCAA Championship, which begins May 31 in Sunriver, Ore.

Final round play begins at 7 a.m. ET Saturday, with List scheduled to tee off on the 10th hole at 9:02 a.m.
