Alabama Series Opener Postponed 4/22/2006 VANDERBILT-ALABAMA SERIES OPENER POSTPONED Commodores and Crimson Tide will play doubleheader Saturday at 2 p.m.
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Vanderbilt’s series opening contest against Southeastern Conference foe Alabama scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Friday has been postponed due to persistent rain in the area.
The teams will make up the game Saturday as part of a doubleheader (two nine-inning contests) starting at 2 p.m. They will play the third game as scheduled on Sunday at 2 p.m.
