Bowlers Third in Chicago

WAUKEGAN, IL- Vanderbilt’s bowling team was in third place in a field of 10 after the first day’s competition at the Brunswick Zone Fountain Square.
The fifth-ranked Commodores trail top-ranked Nebraska and second rated Farleigh Dickinson going into Saturday’s play. Vanderbilt beat Texas Southern, Grambling and topped Arkansas State in a key battle while losing to Central Missouri and Nebraska. All Friday games were Baker Games.
Nebraska has 4.072 pins with Farleigh Dickinson at 4.054, VU at 3,919 and Central Missouri fouirth at 3,854. |
