3/20/2006 March Madness continues tonight in Vanderbilt’s historic Memorial Gymnasium with two exciting games in the second round of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament. The Vanderbilt Commodores have the eyes of the nation upon them in the evening’s first game as they face the top-seed in the entire nation, No. 1 rated North Carolina. Tip-off is 6:00 p.m. Vanderbilt beat Louisville in Saturday’s opening round with a late rally. In the second game of the evening, LSU plays Washington. The Tigers are also a No. 1 seed in the tournament while Washington advanced to the second round after edging Minnesota Saturday. There are plenty of good tickets remaining for $20. The ticket window at Memorial Gym opens at 5:00 p.m. and is located on the south plaza overlooking the baseball stadium. |
