Davis Nwankwo Hospitalized 3/6/2006 Vanderbilt basketball student-athlete Davis Nwankwo (Nah-WONK-wo) collapsed Monday at the start of a practice session in Memorial Gymnasium. The redshirt freshman from College Park, Md., was immediately transported to the Vanderbilt University Hospital Emergency Room. Nwankwo is currently in stable condition and has directed that no additional information be released about his condition. The 6-10 forward has appeared in 23 games this season, scoring 12 points and grabbing 27 rebounds in a reserve role. |
