Baseball Set to Host Music City Classic

Vanderbilt plays host to three games of the Music City Classic this weekend at Hawkins Field. The Commodores open with Pittsburgh on Friday at 4 p.m., followed by Kent State on Saturday at 2 p.m.

They will close out the tournament with a rematch against Kansas on Sunday at noon. February is Dollar Days at Hawkins Field, with single game tickets only $1.

The three visiting teams are also taking on Belmont and Lipscomb at their home parks during the weekend.

Series History
vs. Pittsburgh: Friday will be the first ever meeting on the diamond.
vs. Kent State: Vanderbilt leads 4-3 all-time. KSU won the last meeting 6-4 in 2003.
vs. Kansas: The Jayhawks lead 2-0, including a 5-2 win in 11 innings last Sunday.
