Vanderbilt plays host to No. 10 Florida Wednesday at Memorial Gymnasium. Game time is set for 7 p.m. The game will not be televised in Tennessee but will be available on Sun Sports on a pay-per-view and delayed basis in Florida.

The Commodores (13-8, 4-6 Southeastern Conference) held off Kentucky, 84-81, Saturday at home to snap a four-game losing streak. The victory also gave Vanderbilt its first regular season series sweep of the Wildcats since the 1973-74 campaign. DeMarre Carroll led five Vanderbilt starters in double figures with a career-high 22 points and 12 rebounds. Derrick Byars scored 17 points and Shan Foster posted 16 points. Julian Terrell and Alex Gordon added 11 and 10, respectively.

Florida (21-3, 7-3 SEC) topped SEC West leader LSU, 71-62, Saturday in Gainesville. Gator post players Joakim Noah and Al Horford led Florida with 16 points each. The two were a combined 14-of-22 from the field. Lee Humphrey contributed 13 points and a trio of 3-pointers.

Florida won this season’s previous meeting with Vanderbilt, 81-58, in Gainesville on Jan. 28. Vanderbilt shot 60 percent in the first half but managed just seven field goals in the second stanza. Carroll led VU with 18 points and nine rebounds. Horford tallied 16 points and 16 rebounds for the victorious Gators.

Vanderbilt leads the all-time series 59-51, including a 37-11 advantage in Nashville. However, Florida has won the last five meetings.
