Head Coach Kevin Stallings On the game:
“It was a tale of two halves. We had a chance in the first half to grab control of the game and we didn’t finish the first half well. We kind of let them off the hook a little bit. They came out and dominated the second half. They out-physicalled us inside.”
“We didn’t want to get beat by the three (point shooters). They over-powered us inside. We got into foul trouble. We got some bad fouls. We had a chance to keep it close, but we missed a bunch of foul shots.”
On Demarre Carroll:
“He came out and forced some things in the second half. He played really tremendous in the first half. But he got in foul trouble (in the second half).”
On Carroll and Julian Terrell in the second half:
“It seemed like those two were on the outside looking in. We’ll have to watch film to see whether it was Florida’s defense or if they played too passively.”
