Preston, Sachs fall in Round 2 of SEC Indoors 1/23/2006 Ryan Preston and Nathan Sachs lost in the second round of SEC Indoors on Sunday, January 22. Sachs fell to Kentucky’s Alex Hume (6-4, 6-2), while Preston fell to Mississippi’s Robby Poole (6-7 (3), 6-3, 6- 4). In the doubles consolation round freshman Nick Cromydas and junior Sachs defeated LSU’s Campbell/Dessauer duo (8-5), while juniors Andy Mack and Evan Dufaux fell to Auburn’s Dilaj/Krnjetin team (8-6). The Commodores will open dual match season this weekend when they host UT Martin and Tennessee Tech January 28 and 29. |
