GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Marshae Dotson scored 17 points and Kim Dye had 15 to lead Florida to a 73-59 upset over No. 19 Vanderbilt on Sunday.

The Gators (15-3, 4-2 Southeastern Conference) trailed 34-26 at halftime, and rallied from a first-half deficit for the fifth time in seven games.

Caroline Williams led Vanderbilt (13-6, 2-3 SEC) with 17 points. Carla Thomas had 14 and Nicole Jules added 10.

Florida, which managed only 6-of-24 field goals in the first half, started the second half with a 9-0 run. The Gators sealed the victory with a 22-5 run for a 65-50 lead with 3:32 left.

The Commodores made 15-of-24 shots in the first half, but hit only 10-for-27 in the second half. They entered as the fourth-best team in the nation in field goal percentage.

Danielle Santos was Florida’s only starter in double figures with 10 points.
