Vanderbilt Concludes Non-Conference Slate at Georgia Tech Tuesday Vanderbilt wraps up the non-conference portion of its schedule Tuesday when it travels to Georgia Tech for a 4 p.m. CT contest. The game will be televised by Fox Sports Net.

The Commodores (9-1, 0-0 Southeastern Conference) moved to 2-0 on the road this season following Friday’s 63-60 victory at Dayton. Shan Foster scored a team-high 19 points and hit four 3-pointers. Derrick Byars posted 14 points while DeMarre Carroll had 11 points and nine rebounds.

A win in Atlanta on Tuesday would give the Commodore a 3-0 road mark to start a season for the first time since 1974 when Vanderbilt finished with a 10-2 road record en route to a 23-5 overall mark and the SEC title.

Georgia Tech (6-4, 1-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) is coming off a 73-46 home win over Bethune-Cookman on Saturday. Anthony Marrow led the Yellow Jackets with a game-high 20 points to go along with seven rebounds.

Vanderbilt leads the all-time series with Georgia Tech, 37-30. The two teams have played only once since the Yellow Jackets left the SEC following the 1967 campaign. Georgia Tech outlasted Vanderbilt, 86-77, in overtime at the Kuppenheimer Classic at the Georgia Dome on Dec. 18, 1993.

The Yellow Jackets are 6-1 at home this season.
