Murray Honored as High School All-American 12/6/2005
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Freshman Patrick Murray was recently honored as a high school All-American by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America for his achievements last spring at McIntosh High School in Peachtree City, Ga. Murray was an area and region first team selection from 2002-05 and set the school’s record for assists in a game and season with eight and 28 respectively. He was the 2004 Region Player of the Year and was the team captain in 2004-05. This past fall, he was a key reserve on Vanderbilt’s 9-7-2 team that finished third in the Missouri Valley Conference. He had two goals and three assists in 17 games for the Commodores. |
