Four Named To Men’s Soccer Scholar Athlete Team

Nashville, Tenn. – Joe Germanese, John Krause, Brent Richard and Kenny Schoeni were named to the 2005 Missouri Valley Conference Men?s Scholar-Athlete Team the league office announced today.

Vanderbilt led the conference with four of its student-athletes on the 11-man squad. The four first-teamers are also the most ever for the Commodores who joined the MVC in 1997.

The senior trio of Krause, Richard and Schoeni made the team for the second straight season. Krause and Schoeni were both named Academic All-District recently and are up for Academic All-American honors that will be announced on Monday.
