ESPN2 To Air Vanderbilt-Florida Game Nov. 5 10/25/2005 Kickoff Scheduled for 6:15 p.m., CT Birmingham, Ala. – Vanderbilt will make its third national television appearance this season on ESPN2 when the Commodores travel to Gainesville to take on the Florida Gators Saturday, Nov. 5. The Commodores and Gators will kick off at 6:15 p.m. CT, in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on the University of Florida campus, according to Southeastern Conference officials. Vanderbilt, 4-4 overall and 2-3 in the SEC Eastern Division, is off this Saturday as it prepares for the Florida encounter. The Gators (5-2, 3-2) play SEC Eastern Division leader Georgia this Saturday in Jacksonville, Fla. The Florida game will mark Vanderbilt’s third appearance on ESPN2 in the last five weeks, all against nationally ranked opponents. In October, the Commodores hosted #11 LSU and #4 Georgia on ESPN2. It is the team’s fourth national television appearance of the year — three on ESPN2 and the season opener at Wake Forest on ESPNU. |
