Vanderbilt/LSU Football Picked by ESPN2 9/26/2005 The Southeastern Conference announced today that Vanderbilt’s home football game with LSU on October 8 has been selected for national television. ESPN2 will carry the game with the kickoff moving to 6 p.m. CT. It will be Vanderbilt football’s first truly national telecast since the 2001 Tennessee game, which was carried by CBS. The Commodores last appeared on ESPN2 at home against Kentucky in 1999 and led off this season at Wake Forest on the new ESPNU channel, which is not yet carried in all markets. The game was originally scheduled for a 1 p.m. kickoff. |
